These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Nesta (the "app"), a household management app that helps families coordinate staff tasks, meal planning, driver scheduling, payroll, and attendance. By creating a household or joining one as a family member or staff member, you agree to these Terms.

Nesta is intended for adults managing or working within a household — admins, family members, and adult domestic staff (cooks, drivers, and other household staff). By using Nesta you confirm you are old enough to enter into these Terms under the laws of your country, and, if you are a household admin, that you have the authority to invite the family members and staff you add.
Nesta organizes users into private "households." One admin creates a household and invites others into it under a role: family, cook, driver, or staff. The admin is the source of truth for content created in the app — tasks, meal plans, and trips are created or approved by the admin, and other roles consume or act on that content rather than independently editing it. Each household's data is private to that household; Nesta does not share data between households.
The admin signs up with an email address and password. Family members and staff sign in using their household's unique code plus a PIN chosen for them by the admin. You are responsible for keeping your household code and PIN confidential. The admin is responsible for managing who has access to the household and for resetting a member's PIN if it is compromised or forgotten. Nesta cannot recover a forgotten PIN — it can only be reset by the admin.
You agree to use Nesta only for its intended purpose of coordinating household tasks, meals, trips, payroll, and attendance for a real household. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the content you enter into Nesta (task notes, photos, voice notes, meal plans, trip details, and similar). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the app's features to your household. We do not use your content for advertising and do not sell it to third parties — see the Privacy Policy for full detail on data handling.
Nesta's payroll and attendance tools (salary configuration, advances, bonuses, deductions, attendance marking, overtime calculations) are provided to help admins track and organize staff pay. They are a record-keeping aid, not a substitute for legal, tax, or labor-law compliance advice, and not a payment processor — Nesta does not move money between accounts. Admins are responsible for ensuring pay practices recorded in the app comply with applicable local labor law.
An admin may permanently delete the entire household account at any time from Settings, after confirming the action. Deletion is immediate and irreversible and removes all tasks, meals, trips, payroll records, photos, and voice notes belonging to that household. Because deletion cannot be undone, admins should export any data they wish to keep (available as a CSV export from Settings) before deleting.
We aim to keep Nesta available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time, including through automatic over-the-air updates. We are not liable for data loss caused by factors outside our reasonable control (e.g. device failure, loss of internet connectivity, or a user's own account deletion).
Nesta is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nesta and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, loss of household or payroll records, or disputes between household members and staff arising from information recorded in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using Nesta at any time. An admin may delete their household at any time as described in Section 7. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, or if required to do so by law.
If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify admins in-app. Continued use of Nesta after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a different governing law is required by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
